But Congressional, state, and local elections take place every two years and, in some states, every single year. Most voters don’t understand the roles and responsibilities of each official who represents them at the various levels of government. How do we educate ourselves as a community to have—not just more political awareness—but more political power? And what steps should we take to become more engaged voters?
